After receiving a BFA in classic film techniques from the Savannah College of Art and Design, Sam co-founded Tru Advertising. Driven to raise the standard of creative advertising, he has spent his professional career leveraging Tru Advertising’s strengths to benefit their many clients.

ALEX JOHNSTON

CCO / CO-FOUNDER

After receiving his degree from Northern Arizona University, Alex obtained a job as Promotions Producer for a CBS affiliate.  After fine-tuning his writing, editing, and production skills, Alex co-founded Tru.  Above all, Alex enjoys the relationship he has with his clients, and discovering new and innovative ways to tell their stories.

EMILY MACK

DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS

Since graduating with a B.S. in Public Management from the University of Arizona, Emily has had a proven record of success in organizational, marketing, and production management. She maintains close relationships with our Credit Union customers by consistently working hard to address their personal needs and handle any urgent matters of importance that may arise.

MIKE FORD

ART DIRECTOR

A graduate of the Art Institute of Phoenix with a degree in Computer Animation, Mike has spent the last 17 years building an amazing portfolio of work. From print to web or tv to mobile, he has the same intense dedication to his craft no matter the delivery method. Throughout Mike’s career he has been recognized with numerous awards, including Emmy®, Telly® and American Advertising Federation Addy® Awards.

DANNY ADELMAN

ASSOCIATE ART DIRECTOR

Danny is an accomplished animator and designer, having earned critical acclaim for his work. He has learned to grasp his artistic vision and produce lightning fast when faced with unyielding deadlines. Industry recognition includes an Emmy® Award, 2 Telly® Awards, and numerous local ADDY® Awards. Most recently, his work was featured in Computer Arts Magazine Issue #206.

MICHAEL CARTER

VIDEO EDITOR

Michael graduated from the Colorado Film School with an emphasis in Video Editing and spent the next 5 years as a Commercial Producer for local Television affiliates from Colorado to Oklahoma. At Tru, Michael specializes in video editing and color correction to bring clients’ videos the highest production quality possible, while giving them the greatest effectiveness.
